Is There a Need for Big Changes in Health Care?

NHS is very good at dealing with emergencies and with acute problems. But it's much more difficult to deal with many, many complex, multi morbid patients. We've dealt with theasum of very acute problems, but at the expense of then a huge backlock putting everything else off. And we're not so good in planning for things that don't produce an immediate risk - which really means primary care and social carry are in that kind of basket.
