What's the Iron Age?
The Elling woman's discovery was made in and I'm going to give this my best shot. The Iron Age is a prehistoric period that followed the Bronze Age when weapons and tools came to be made of iron. A lot of these bog bodies tend to get either like kind of like cut apart by the Pete digging plon accidently or when they are removed from the Pete, especially like in the 30s and the 50swhen they didn't know what they were doing. So most of them thought they were recent murder victims.
