In the 1970s, beneath the Cold War was also a soft propaganda war. One of the things that emerged in the 1970s was the idea that behind the Iron Curtain, Russia was pretty much claiming that they had psychic soldiers. In one year, you go from psychic assassins being the top priority to suddenly being a punchline in a summer blockbuster. That's extraordinary and almost certainly you can attribute all of that to Project Alpha.
