Buying a Home in a Geriatric Town?

Two out of three mericans on home yet, the people who own one already are in an unbelievable position. Naples is not known for s cheap real estate, but has gone absolutely bonkers. A house above was list sold two years before mine for 400 k and just sold for one point three million dollars cash, five years later. An apartment would do more than just find after tax, i'd make out with approximately the total value of the home i purchased 20 months ago. Here's my question. Would this be a senara in which you'd take the cash and wait out wats tot a few years?
