backward design means starting with the end goals in mind. What problem are we trying to solve? What skills should the learners be developing and working towards? From there, we can design assessments, activities and content to focus on achieving our main outcomes. The programme should be constructed in a way for students to visibly see their progress. An growth ith every step they take towards being able to achieve the desired results. By not mentioning the purpose, i feel like we are dismissing the point.
