Bitcoin Proof of Reserves

I don't like the trend of Bitcoiners having a lot of interest in custodial tech. It just makes me people think, okay, I don't have to worry about who do I trust anymore? But this is not true. Like custody requires trust. And that's true of any custodial system. So if you're not using Bitcoin in a trustless way, why are you using Bitcoin?
