The Cost of Discipleship

When i think about it, the people i know who have most died to self, there is a debesis against everything you will hear on the street and everything that will come through your phone. They have put desire in their proper pla, below god. Or said another way, they have said yes to their deepest desire, which is for god. And in doing so, they have been set free from the domination, the tyranny, the enslavement of want. If you deny jesus and follow yourself, you end up unsatisfied, disintegrated, torn, conflict, run by desire. I have to this is what jesus mean s by you will lose your soul.
