The Impact of Solar Energy on Poverty

Sally Kohn: I just never made the connection between solar energy and poverty alleviation. The last few years, she's been fascinated with the process that China underwent to completely eliminate absolute poverty. She says it was a decades-long campaign but has now been successful. Kohn: If we're going to build hydropower on this river somewhere, we should build it close to this community because it creates jobs for that community.
