You co-authored a framework called space, which is this multi dimensional way of looking at developer productivity. What was the inspiration for writing space? Why did you feel like this was needed? Why does our industry needs space? That's a great question. There were a few motivations, but I'll say the biggest was just a bunch of people kept asking me about productivity and to this day, still every month, at least once a month, I get asked what's the one metric that matters.
