Do You Know if You Have Completed the Overshoot?
The irony is that the last day of Q3 September 30 we were at 3.82% and here we are in March of 2023 or 3.9599 I mean rates really have for all that's gone on since September, why are rates barely up from where they were? The message is very clear it's higher for longer right and so we're gonna have percent and not so distant future it might overshoot to the upside but you might not see 10 year yields go meaningfully higher from here. Maybe that is more of a reflection on the potential recession that might come towards the back half of this year.
