Grief is not an idea. Grief is something that passes through the body because you'll notice lots of people are disconnected from their grief. It can be a good change, but it's still a form of loss. Lots of things that are good also have an undertone of grief and you can actually literally get better at spotting it. And yet here's the thing about grief: If you are stuck in any way in your head with your mind properly integrated into the rest of your being, then what grief will do is sit there on its own.
