US Military Support to Ukraine Is Just a Blank Check
A big one is this notion that we're just writing blank checks to the Ukrainians. This is a very popular talking point by those who do not want to provide military support or financial support to Ukraine. The vast majority of dollars that the US is allocating for the defense of Ukraine actually never leaves the United States. So there are no blank checks given to Ukraine. We're not lining the pockets of oligarchs and Kyiv.
