The Complexity of Inclusion Design

I think in the end, inclusive design is about not offending anybody. But what's happening now is that you risk offending somebody. There's so much that goes into this, but it can become really, really complicated quite quickly. I mean, sometimes we're asking for people's gender when we really want to know which pronoun to use. And still, then we need to ask ourselves, do we really need to know the user's pronouns?
