The Evolution of the Mind

I feel like there's a temptation to say that they must perceive sense data like us in terms of like visuals and in terms of auditory stuff. It's tempting to say that, but I don't know if there's like a compelling rational reason why you are to accept that. Are there animals, for instance, that are there animals that truly create music? For instance, that would be like a big sound thing. But we're taking so many of the boxes here that at the very least it shouldn't be on me to prove that animals do feel pain before we can do whatever we liked them.
