A lot of marketing to me is running experiments, knowing how to run a hypothesis. I wrote about this in my book, the idea that you should act like a scientist, not like a promoter. Just because you got a result doesn't mean you'll keep getting the same result over time. So your job as a marketer should always be about running new experiments and finding out what you can do to deliver better performance over time.
