In 13, forty seven came to europe. The mongol army that made their way across the continent had sort of landed. That brought some diseases with them. And within six years, the black death had taken over the whole nent of europe. Within those six years, between a quarter to a half of all europeans were killed by the disease. Here with higher density populations in cities with new farming practices,. whe got animals living in unhealthy conditions in close proximity to humans. Plus when you've got people travelling from different areas all round the world, there's more risk that these diseases can spread.
