Tolkien's Friendship With Charles Williams
Tolkien became a little bit of jealous when Charles Williams joined the inkling. He said my friendship with Lewis started declining in 1940. It was Tolkien who really championed the professorship for Lewis at Cambridge. And they stayed famous friends.
