The Importance of Forgiveness
I'd say it's a hell of a lot more fateful for the woman who has her life utterly destroyed by these events. He says at one point that he can't really talk about her. He can't talk about her situation that in the context of this book, he can only speak about his own life. That is the only thing he can really talk about in this book. Not actually spending any time thinking about that other party in this affair is the most egregious awful thing.
