Venture capital invests in very young companies, start ups. It usually takes a long time for these start ups to mature and then provide some sort of an exit to these funds. This as an aced class in india is very, very new. In ain fact, it was almost unheard of in india till late, two thousand, early 20 tenths. India only started seeing some home grown funds, a inventior capital around 20 ten 11 12. That was probably the first time when they even asked family offices about investing in such a product or platform.
