Silver Lake

i'll probably do a full episode on it follows but just from even reading mitchell's comments on the movie and uh there was a lot that i thought was was good context for thinking about what he's doing with silver lake. Mitchell does not want it to be read about as a cautionary tale about casual sex NSTDs and all the other consequences of casual sex. He also wants to talk about the characters in that movie who are within kind of a nightmare that they can't wake up from sound familiar. The idea of he's in the hall of sam is in the hollywood dream world and he's never going to get out of it, says Mitchell.
