The Problem With Ghost Fishing

The UN estimates that 640,000 tons of fishing gear are left in the oceans each year. That is equal to 556,521 Ford Fieses just dumped in the ocean every year. In one area they got a wrangled 870 ghost nets and that contained more than 32,000 marine animals.
