I think that if the simulating, if we're living in the simulation, it's written in JavaScript. I think garbage collection is unequivocally a good thing for most programs to be written in. It does feel like it is not an optimal language for all the things that it's being used for or an optimal distribution system without type systems. And so much of programming is not the language itself but the infrastructure around everyone and how you can deploy it.
