Mediate Critique Is the First Refuge of the Scoundrel

Fox News was starting from scratch, and the news division at fox news is really expensive to do well. Fox did not have and exist wasn't building on an existing news organization. No one can now say after 20 plus years in this new media space that we don't know what the consequences of crappy journalism are. And conservatives like to think that the market is the answer? Don't come up with new distortions; it won't work. We're learning a new technology that is radically different than other things before. But even so, no one could say that we don’tknow what the effects of partisan hate are.
