In 1988, Noreen gave an interview for a documentary called Who Took Johnny behind the 30-year disappearance of an Iowa paper boy. The law in Iowa at the time allowed law enforcement to wait 72 hours before declaring a child missing. "As far as I'm concerned, trying to brush off a kid's disappearance as just a runaway seems nonsensical," she says.
