What Was the Element That Made the Record So Fresh?

There was only a couple of song starts that we had. I think we only had one fully written song and one start before we started making the record. Ever else was you know, recorded as we were writing it or recorded right after we wrote it. Like humming bird, for instance, was recorded 100 % completely live outside. No studio trickery whatsoever. And we had to actually both have a decent take together at the same time. Ye, thire's such a freshness in itome. Do you see to those songs, isn't it? Is that on account of how they were written with, kind of in a very spontaneous way?
