The Three Designers of Go
Go is not really thought of as an object-oriented language, but it has some features from object-oriented languages. Originally, Go was seen as this replacement or improvement for C++, but really that's not who it's replacing. And going back, if we'd thought of it, we'd have done an object- oriented version of C back in the old days.
