New York Rifle and Pistol Association v. New York State
A bruin, a new york rifle and pistol association versus bruin. This case the first one to really deal more with the bare arms question. The holding in this case is rather narrow. It's quite simple that if we have a right to bear arms, you can't have that. That can't be at complete discretion a the states. And so i think this case is really important because it does get rid of these statutes that give complete discretion to states to decide who can carry guns outside the home home.
