The US has the highest prison population in the entire world, like 5%. The US has 25% of the world's prison population. And that prison population is a major supplier of so-called forced labor. It produces $11 billion worth of goods and services a year, but prison workers are only paid pennies an hour. So you see why the US is so hyper focused on this so-calledforced labor in Xinjiang.
