Is There a Growth Mind Set?
Praise and the way that we talk to children as young as one year old can impact a child's mind set. If you were giving more praise around the process, then this really predicted a growth mind sat later. And what the researchers found was parents of boys used a higher percentage of process praise than parents of girls. The boys were more likely to believe their intelligence could be improved through hard work than the girls.
