Was the Central Bank Powerful, but Independent?
The central bank was actually very, very powerful during this age. It had a lot of authority over lending and international dral i guess my question is, was it powerful, but independent? Or powerful but also kind of dependent on whoever the president was, and he was subject to politics? I mean, they obviously te signed, like, the senser long policis, so i it wols how, like a very political rolle.
