The Relationship Between Barcelona and the Franco Diktatorship
The linking between the club of Frona and the Franco dictatorship was exaggerated to say the least. It is obvious that the Franco dictatorship used the Armadie for propaganda purposes for what we would call today soft power. This is a pariah dictatorship in Europe and they need it very badly to have international success so Real Madrid provided some sort of international recognition. But then when Barcelona were doing well they would actually say well you know Barcelona is the presentation of a Spain.
