How Elvin Bishop Built a Wireless Mic

I came up with a circuitry which is now used by everybody in a process called companion. It enables you to have a dynamic range, the difference between clipping at one end for an overload signal and the background hits on the other end. And after I made the mic then I started getting a request for a mic so I adapted the circuitry and made a handheld mic also. We got it on the market in late 77. So it took me nine years to get it to the point where I could get it together.
