The Importance of Understanding Your Kids

Ben Affleck's character in "Goonies" doesn't get hung up on his kid when he does something out of character. He instead is curious about how he got there and why it was important to him. The movie shows that kids have these really important things and they're important to them, says Affleck. And nothing you can say or do will change that.
