The Unresolvable Tension in Capitalism
The way capitalism works is we have a wage labor system in which people are paid for those jobs and that creates market income. In any given society, if you look at a demographic, like bell curve, right? Like a six month old doesn't earn wages. A 12 year old hopefully shouldn't be earning wages. But when you get down to the working age population, like that's a significant subsection depends on the demographics of a society. All those other people are not producing market income. They also need care. You know, I'm sure people listening this have cared for parents or aunts and uncles. We're aging. And so it's something different. It's primal.
