The Importance of Absolute Determinism in Ethics

If you're a total determinist, then it's very hard for me to square the meaning of ethics with absolute determinism. I don't see where ethics makes sense. People who believe in that sort of determinism are going to in a different way find equivalence because there's no underlying mystical component.
