How to Use SEM to Model Growth Aspects
SEM is a good starting point for me because I am able to parameterize the models in the way that I want. If there's something that I really want to buy in the SEM model, and I'm going to need to take a bullet to try to deal with the nesting, they have nice cluster corrected standard errors. But in my opinion, those are only effective to the extent to which that nesting is a nuisance that you want to adjust for and pretend doesn't exist.
