So there are a couple of linkages there so hitler served in the Bavarian army in the first war as an infantryman and obviously ronald was one of those. He never went through general staff training he spent 1918 on the staff of an army corps and absolutely hated it but given that he detested that kind of work it's not terribly surprising she says.
