Is Grief a Mental Disorder?
Grief is natural and normal for social creatures like ourselves. There's no reason to think that there's something about grief that renders it a sort of pathological, right? It bodies or minds are not malfunctioning when we're grieving. I don't think people can develop depression or anxiety as as a consequence of grief. And in the case of pandemic grief - i think this is a very healthy response from us.
