I think gangs are a result of lost boys. And then they grow up to become lost men. Gangs are some sort of group association with male activity. It's just flawed male activity. That's why gangs are attractive to lost kids who were never given purpose, never shown how to excel in particular areas. They say, what's the point? I might as well go out there and do whatever.
