How to Push Back on a CBDC
A CBDC would not be money in the sense used in the Constitution. Robert Wright makes a pretty compelling case that if the government releases a CBDC, it will not be money. If he is right, and I don't know that he is, I read the argument and it's compelling. The government may well be able to voice the CBDC upon us but not at the expense of the money in our pockets.
