The Staff Warrior's Endocarditis

When I was at UCLA, we published along with our anti biogram the drugs that were routinely tested and the cascade rules. Not everybody used it, but at least it was available to people so it's not like this weird black box where you don't really know what the lab is doing. But my anecdote is we had a patient with staff warriors endocarditis when I was atCLA. And they started them on Genomycin monotherapy for their school. Thankfully, it was intervened on pretty quickly, but it was just like wow, but so after that we quit reporting Jen on those cultures. It keeps me up at night.
