The Wild History of West Point

The 1825 Eggnog riot is not well known today among West Point cadets. Historian Sherman Fleek says hardly anyone knows about it. When new barracks were constructed in the 1840s, they included short hallways that required cadets to completely exit the building before being able to access any other level. Only one of those buildings still remains.
