Tillich: Entropy in physics exemplifies the profound ambiguity of life as both good and evil. Universal existential estrangement as the fall. What a wonderful symbol to capture the myth of the fall and partially demethologize it, but still leave it with us. Without entropy, we wouldn't have evolution. This is what Boltzmann could ever find in the 19th century and what Darwin found.
