It is through celebrating our reciprocal relationship with nature that we can awaken our ecological consciousness, and better protect our planet's gifts. Robin Wall Kimmerer is a mother, scientist, decorated professor and enrolled member of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation. She lives in Syracuse, New York, where she is a Professor of Environmental Biology and the founder and director of the Centre for Native Peoples and the Environment. Her current work spans traditional ecological knowledge, moss ecology, outreach to tribal communities and creative writing.
