Technical Standards in China - It's a Long Road Ahead

The first law, which came out in 19 89, was highly duroucratic. Now what they're plann to do is try to bring in private firms to work along with the government on technical standards. This can result in kind of a duel standard system which can be adopted by the country. It would actually end up insuring domestic economic growth as well as getting a geogretical influence.
