Is Platonism a Christian Philosophy?

I'm not familiar with, with this at all. I'm so much of a Christian Platonist that I avoid most movies and most, most contemporary media. But yes, ancient philosophy and particularly platonic philosophy is important for the Christian. Even very platonic minded Christians are aware that metaphysics of any kind needs to be sifted, including platonism. The concern that some of our evangelical interlocutors may have of imposing a pagan philosophy on the Christian faith is a very legitimate concern.
