Margaret Hoover: Is it really a big deal to get rid of the filibuster, in light of all this sort of erosion around it? She says there's a pretty substantial list of things that democrats would not be able to get done in 20 21 without the presence of the filabuster. Hoover: It is something that would empower the liberal side of the spectrum more than the conservative side because the pilibuster tends to block progressive legislation and conservative legislation.
