What Do Refiners Do?

There's a mismatch now where more oil is being consumed than is being produced. So what happens in inventories start dropping. And so what do the refiners do? They give a signal that, you know, start pumping more crude or they raise prices. That's why you would tend to see a pattern of low inventories going hand in hand with higher than normal prices and higher than normal exports.
