Carbon Removal Versus Carbon Avoidance - What's the Difference?

Carbon removal projects are generated from activities that pull carbon out of the air and are stored. As avoidance projects are from activities that reduce emissions by preventing their release into the atmosphere. This could be stopping the conversion of forests to crop lands, or limiting black carbon omissions from traditional cooking methods. And we see this initiative as an opportunity to go on a learning journey together with our peers, with our colleagues, ad to mystify the carbon removal space.
