The Main Advantage of the Printing Press
Ottomans were hesitant towards the written form because they knew forms of writing that became printed in this way and mass produced would impact various forms of learning. Written form an oral form is something which has always been carefully balanced in the muslem mod so could in memorization. We have to find ways, i believe, of trying to rekindle the oral tradition. To some degree, the absence of the oral tradition in favour of the written tradition creates discilic, spiritual discenics for current moslem generation.
